Davide is a History PhD student with a specialization in Modern European History. He studies the relationships between the Allied army and Italian civilians during the Allied occupation of Italy in World War 2 and its immediate aftermath (1943 – 1950). The research is mainly focused on notions of masculinity and its relations to war and violence.

Taylor is a Master’s Student at The Graduate Center, CUNY. His research interests include 20th Century American Literature, the Future of the Book, Digital Approaches to Humanities Research, Geo-Spatial Humanities, and techniques in Data Visualization. He is especially stimulated by the concept of “interface” in explorations in material culture and design, and in human computer interaction.
