Davide Colasanto

Davide is a History PhD student with a specialization in Modern European History. He studies the relationships between the Allied army and Italian civilians during the Allied occupation of Italy in World War 2 and its immediate aftermath (1943 – 1950). The research is mainly focused on notions of masculinity and its relations to war and violence.

Taylor is a Master’s Student at The Graduate Center, CUNY. His research interests include 20th Century American Literature, the Future of the Book, Digital Approaches to Humanities Research, Geo-Spatial Humanities, and techniques in Data Visualization. He is especially stimulated by the concept of “interface” in explorations in material culture and design, and in human computer interaction.

Lisa is preparing for a new career that integrates her enthusiasm for cultural history, new media, public humanities, and education with her skills and experience in research, writing, teaching, and humanities scholarship. For Lisa, visiting a new place is never complete without a trip to the local cemetery.
